Dr. John McGuire III
PRESIDENT/OWNER
The curator of Vision Health Center, O.D., Dr. McGuire, began his optometry career as a Naval Officer at Marine Corps Base Quantico. There he served as an Adjunct Professor of Optometry for two universities, Department Head of the optometry clinic as well as a Customer Service Instructor for all incoming staff to the Naval Medical Clinic Quantico. In 2008. he founded the Vision Health Center O.D. devoted to the patient experience. Using music, art, and aromatherapy, Dr. McGuire brings beauty into medicine.

Dr. McGuire attended Carnegie Mellon University ultimately graduating from New England College of Optometry. He holds degrees in the Humanities, Biology, Psychology and a Doctorate of Optometry. When styling an individual, Dr. McGuire’s tastes lean toward timeless luxury eyewear.
Dr. Harmony McGuire

In July 2012, Dr. Harmony McGuire joined her husband, Dr. John McGuire, at their new and expanded practice as Vice President and Co-Owner of Vision Health Center, O.D.
Dr. Harmony McGuire graduated from Liberty University with a masters degree in Professional Counseling. She is a Licensed Psychotherapist in private practice at her own practice Flourishing Hearts Counseling & Hypnotherapy. Dr. Harmony McGuire earned a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision and serves as part-time adjunct faculty at a university in New Jersey.
